Raga Music is the soul and essence of Indian Music. <Joy with Indian Music> concert was held at Hong Kong Arts Centre. Two Indian musicians were specially invited from India for this performance. This was absolutely a rare opportunity for audience who were new and fresh to Indian Culture & Music.

There were already crowds of audience waiting outside the theatre 15 minutes before the concert such that the temperate got higher and higher in the lobby. Just within 5 minutes, nearly all 200 seats are occupied. Together with the presence of the two special guests from India and a local tabla player, the concert was started with the song,<Jay Ganraya Shri Ganraya>. The artists performed with Harmonium, Tabla and the very unique style of vocal singing based on Raga Music which beautifully impressed the audience.

The concert was ended with a fast-rhythmic song, <Mata O Mata>, which brought everyone together by clapping hands. Every heart and soul was dissolved in music and the atmosphere was the hottest towards the end. Some of the audience and local music lovers even stayed behind the show for learning, exchanging music tips and technique from music aspect.

Sahaja Music Group was invited to perform Indian music for the Global Citizenship Festival organized by the Hong Kong University. Vocal singing in fusion with the traditional Indian musical instruments, tabla & harmonium, and violin, several beautiful and yet impressing pieces were presented.
